A LIFETIME OF MINISTRY, CALLING, AND IMPACT
My journey in ministry began more than 50 years ago when I first surrendered to the call of Christ. From that day forward, I’ve sought to serve wherever the Spirit led me, whether preaching in a pulpit, walking city streets, guiding rural congregations, or working alongside denominational leaders. My calling has never been about position, but about obedience.
My Ministry Journey
Over the decades, I’ve had the privilege of serving in a variety of ways:
- Southern Baptist pastor, evangelist, missionary, and strategist
- Helping churches through growth, relocation, replanting, and renewal
- Serving in denominational leadership at both state and national levels
- Supporting pastors and leaders through multi-housing outreach, ethnic ministry development, and associational diagnostics
Each role has given me new opportunities to see God’s work firsthand, shaping how I serve today.
Lessons from Leadership
I’ve been entrusted with leadership responsibilities on convention boards, resource development teams, and national consultations. Through those experiences, I learned this truth: titles don’t bring lasting impact; faithfulness does. My greatest joy has been equipping others to discern Spirit-led vision and helping them walk in it with confidence.
Writing from Lived Truth
I never thought I’d be a writer; I barely passed freshman English! But God stirred something new in me. Over time, He gave me a passion to share lessons learned from both successes and failures.
My writing is not about polished language but about authentic, lived truth born out of prayer, mistakes, breakthroughs, and grace. I write to encourage pastors, strengthen churches, and remind leaders that tomorrow can glorify God even more than today.
Looking Ahead
In this later chapter of life, my heart is set on preparing those who will carry the torch forward. I want to leave behind resources that are:
- Biblically anchored
- Practical and usable
- Spirit-led and authentic
- Designed to build movements, not just moments
I hope that my legacy will reflect faithfulness, humility, and lasting Kingdom impact.
My Mission
My mission is to equip pastors and church leaders with biblically grounded, Spirit-led tools for revitalization, multiplication, and Kingdom impact. Every sermon I preach, every resource I create, and every word I write is meant to strengthen the church and steward wisdom for the generations to come.
